• A US Passport is valid for 10 years
  when issued to applicants 16 years and
  older
• A passport for minors (16 and under) is
  valid for 5 years
• All children regardless of age (including
  newborns and infants) must have
  their own passport.
• Critical documents which must be in the
  possession of a first time applicant, in
  order to apply, include:
• Proof of Citizenship (certified copy of
  birth certificate, naturalization papers,
  expired passport)
• Government issued photo ID of applicant,
  or parent of applicant (driver’s license)
• Other documents required if above can
  not be supplied.
